This weekend was mad decent; my team made the coolest V48 Hours film, it’s a lighthearted post-apocalyptic comedy about a cunt with a beard. Can’t wait to show people, until then here’s some stills.

Because this was my first attempt at making a film of significant length, I fell into a lot of the traps that inexperienced storytellers tend to (‘it was all a dream’, frivolous drug references, extended sequences of characters in transit, disjointed/confusing plot). Despite this, You’re dead, Ted turned out pretty damn cool, owing largely to the very talented actors involved. Another note, though not shown in the credits, the film contains (or contains samples of) the following songs:

Picnic-Esbjörn Svensson Trio’

Godless-The Dandy Warhols’

‘Sixteen Saltines-Jack White’

‘Projects-Tyree Colion’

‘Why I Love You (feat. Mr Hudson)-Jay-Z & Kanye West’

‘Fire Song-The Brian Jonestown Massacre’

‘In the Park (J.Period Remix) f. Black Thought-J.Period, John Legend & The Roots’

‘Our Generation (Interlude) f. Ernie Hines-J.Period, John Legend & The Roots’

‘Julie And Candy-Boards of Canada’

‘Mr. Waterfall-The Guest’

‘Summer-War’

‘Home Is Where You’re Happy-Charles Manson’

More old design stuff, this is a poster I made for Eve (http://agelesseverytime.tumblr.com/) and her flatmates after I clumsily broke a really really nice china cup of theirs; we were watching the Royal Wedding.

This is an old piece I was messing around with for a few days before christmas in 2010 (I think); I’d just watched The Shawshank Redemption with Michael and Simon, and they were cracking jokes about the character Brooks, ‘cause he’s hilarious I guess. The name was floating around in my head for the next day or two, so this happened.

If I ever figure out how to make good music I’d probably release it under the name Brooks. Just ‘cause…

Some old shots from a photography course I did last year.
